Truth. A lesson to learn

Thirty-eight years and four months after the Bloody Sunday in Derry, British Prime Minister has admitted it was a massacre carried out by English troops against harmless people.
This is a big step in the direction of recovering the truth about that shameful page , it will be even bigger if the culprits of that massacre will be now prosecuted.

In any case, the speech held by the Prime Minister is a strong and meaningful act that is in favor of peace.
Yes, because there can’t be enduring peace without the building of a common conscience, there can’t be a Nation without the collective awareness of responsibilities from all parties.

This is the lesson to be learned from rulers who consider the state as a battlefield. And this is happening in many ways and in many places, much closer than we might expect.

My rational praise to the British Prime Minister, my fraternal empathy to all people of Ireland.

Welcome

Hi everybody, welcome to Heads up!
A new blog on fashion, food, sports, way of life...at last!

Well, not exactly. You won't find anything here to enhance your productivity; what you might find is a green field to exchange opinions about what's going on out there. So, if you like the idea, shoot a note and thanks for your visit.

Few words about the author (he doesn't deserve more): Italian born and bred, lucky enough to travel a bit, deeply curious and disenchanted.
